Anybody have plans or know of a source for plans to make a duplicator. After looking at the price of a Gemini I decided that I may have to make my own. TIA John |

I'll second that request, John. I'd like to have something I could use to at least rough-carve out necks with, and maybe someday to use for archtops. Best, Michael |

plans? or discussions? When I looked into this, I saw a few discussions on the topic but no plans. |

I may be interested in selling my MultiCarver (the duplicator demoed at the ASIA conference). It would include the router, all appropriate bits, and a metal archtop plate used for making archtop tops and backs. Other odds and ends. I may be getting a CNC and it would no longer be useful to me. I also would include the 4x4 table. In other words everything is ready to go! I am in Virginia and I believe it would be most practical to pick it up. If anyone is interested email me at sylvan@sylvanwells.com and I'll send you the details. |

Goto the CopyCarver site. I've been contemplating building one of these for awhile. I'm more likely to make Keith MacKenzie's table (se our jigs section), however, because most of the things I want to duplicate are small. |

Search the MIMF library for Carl A Mills' home-built duplicarver as well as John Sargent's home-built duplicarver and Marty McClary's Duplicarver V and David Myka's shop-built duplicarver. or just search for Duplicarver. There are plans pictures discussions everything. |
